Product Description
Such a unique blend of function and fashion, that Sigg bottles, just like the Sigg Water Bottle (32 oz.), were selected for display at New York's Museum of Modern Art. They're functional because they're built to withstand the abuse of active outdoor play, everything from scorching hot bike rides to extended backpacking trips. And even though they're incredibly tough, the Sigg Water Bottle (32 oz.) is 20 lighter than quart-size Lexan models. A special baked-in liner blocks any hint of aluminum taste.Similar Products

While perhaps dishwasher safe, rare would be the dishwasher that could clean past the narrow throat of this aluminum bottle. While these bottles can be very attractive they are also a bit too easy to dent for those who pursue more active lifestyles (or are just kids). The twist top is leak resistant but easy to misplace. I think maybe these bottle are the wrong implementation of the right idea. (Sorry, I can't edit the number of stars - should have been a 4 star review.)

I do not trust this company. The bottles have a chemical liner and the company does not disclose the composition. Some bottles contain the old copper-colored liner which contains BPA, as the company admitted recently. The newer bottles have a different liner, but the company again does not disclose the composition and when I purchased my bottle, after thorough washing, I could detect a weird taste in the water. If the new lining is truly non-toxic, then the company should come clean and reveal the composition. I do not trust that the new liner is any better than the old. I bought mine directly from the SIGG website and their 30-day return policy is a joke (only store credit, $5 restocking fee per item, $10 if it has been used, plus of course you pay for shipping). So now I am stuck with a possibly toxic bottle that I cannot use. I recommend you buy stainless steel bottles like those from Klean Kanteen, which even SIGG's research posted on their website showed that they do not leach anything toxic.

Shame on Amazon for this but they are still selling the Sigg bottles made with BPA in the liner. I just received a bottle directly from Amazon today and it has the old liner that Sigg stopped making over a year ago. Sigg does have an exchange program, but you pay for shipping. So a new bottle purchased from Amazon for 28.00 including shipping is going to cost you another 3 weeks and 10.00 in shipping to send it back to Sigg and get a BPA free bottle.

i ordered two of these bottles from amazon and and within a month, i noticed the lining on the neck of the bottle started peeling. so i contacted zigg and sent them back for a replacement. it's been a month, and i haven't gotten my replacement. i would recommend the camelbak bottles instead. you don't have to worry about a liner.

This thing is well constructed and worth every cent. It doesn't pick up any bad taste or smells either. Love that I can put it in my backpack and have no worry whatsoever about it leaking because of its tight threaded cap.
