Having an insulated tote is key as it keeps your hands warm and the beverage warm or cold - whichever you prefer. You may machine wash the Neoprene totes and put the bottles in the dishwasher. However, I have found that hand washing both works much better. The dishwasher cannot get into the Kanteens very well. Buy a bottle washing brush at your grocery store.
