 "Great thermos/infuser" 2009-12-28
By DA (Seattle, WA USA)
This thermos is the perfect size for me. I've been looking for one that is as narrow as this is. Its diameter is the same or smaller than a pop can. The bonus about the thermos is that it has the removable infuser. The infuser definitely works. The only downside is that if you're going to drink your drink soon after filling with hot water, it's not going to be cool enough to drink for awhile since it is a thermos. You can leave the top off to help cool things down and if the infuser is in place it's pretty slosh-resistant. You can actually shake it up and down with it filled to the top and with the top off and nothing will spill out. If your looking to keep things hot as a thermos for a very long time, with the top closed, it does let some heat bleed out - with thermoses the outside should be cold, but with this thing the top is warm since it's a plastic lid and not a vacuum wall. But I've left the top open for more than 4 hours and the tea I had in the thermos was still more than luke-warm. This is a pretty great thermos/infuser.

 "Sleek and great!" 2009-11-30

I had this mug a couple of years ago and lost it. I was so happy to see it on sale on Amazon. This mug has a great sleek design and looks very classy in your car or bag. If you seal it tightly it doesn't leak. Though I use it mostly for coffee the tea infuser is great too. Much nicer than some other brands' infusers that I have seen recently. It keeps your coffee pretty hot too. It doesn't hold quite as much coffee as I'd like and you do have to unscrew it to drink from it (not as great for in the car) but for the most part, I really love this mug.

"Perfect seal - Hot for hours - Extremely Versatile - Stylish" 2009-11-21
By Stacey E. Lovett (Champaign, IL)
This mug is really amazing. I bike to work everyday, and so I need a mug that can fit nicely in my bag and won't leak. Because the mug doesn't have a handle, it slips easily into a bag or backpack. The vaccum seal is absolutely perfect (100% after 2 yrs). The mug also keeps liquids hot an incredible amount of time. Even without the vaccum seal top lid, my drink stays warm for over an hour or two. I haven't ever tested how long things stay hot with the vaccum lid on. Another advantage is that this mug is good for tea drinkers. You can place tea leaves or a tea bag in the mug, along with hot water, and the infuser will keep leaves from coming through lid. I have also found that the mug does not absorb flavors, so non-coffee drinks do not taste like coffee (even if you use it for coffee 99% of the time). The mug is also pretty sexy looking. I'm an aesthetic, so I appreciate the style and shine. There are only a couple issues I have had with this mug. First of all, the outer casing of the mug is easily dented. Nearly every significant drop on gravel, concrete, or down some steps, resulted in dents and scratches. Some of the dents were rather significant. The dents didn't effect the mug's function. Another issue is that the mug can tend to be difficult to drink out of if you keep the infuser in. The infuser tends to block an even flow of liquid. Personally, I just remove the infuser unless I am using the mug for tea. I lost this mug last week, and today I'm buying a new one. It's one of the most useful items I own. FYI, if you call the Timolino company, they will send you replacement lids if you lose any of the three parts that fit the top of the mug. For $5, I got two replacement lid sets with free shipping.
