Never leaks. Cup is great and it's not to have the ring for hiking purposes. Keeps coffee warm for 7+ hours, easily. I use it every day. The rubber bottom piece on mine is still intact and fine.

I liked it initially but soon the bottom piece falling off. I don't know where the thing is manufactured as they claim "swiss design" but has no info where is made. Swiss quality is over-rated in this instance.
