The second day I had this bottle I dropped it. It hit on the rubber base and dentled the bottle so badly that it tips over when I place it on a table. Now it is worthless. Not the quality I expect of a Swiss company, even if the bottle is made in China. I give it 2 stars because it did have style.

I ordered two of these travel mugs before a 7 hour car trip with my boyfriend. We were really impressed with the thermal quality of the mugs. My coffee was hot for 5 hours and his beverage stayed cold even longer (about 6-8 hrs). Even after we left the car in the sun for an hour with our mugs inside the drinks were still the perfect temp. Also we didn't have to worry about the mug leaking because it seals tightly. There are a couple of downsides that might make this mug bothersome for others. First, it is a little smaller than a soda can in diameter so it doesn't fit snuggly in cup holders. Second, there is no sip area for the mug, so you have to take the lid off to drink from it. Third, the mug should be hand-washed. And fourth the directions on the mug advise you not to put carbonated beverages in the mug. I love my mug because I mainly use it for coffee, water and juice. But you may want to choose another alternative if any of these downsides are a deal-breaker for you.

Thought it was a water travel mug. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. It's just a thermos and doesn't hold very much. I can, however, put ice in it and take it to work for ice water but I have to keep refilling it (several times). Not worth the money for what I wanted it for.

This thermal works incredibly well. It even keeps ice from melting for hours and hours. The lid is very tight and will not leak, and as long as you are careful, your beverage will not drip onto you (and burn you) when you unscrew the lid. The thermal doesn't have a handle or a ring to hold on to, but the outside will not hurt your hand, cold or hot.
A definite negative is that though the bottle maintains its shine and looks wonderful, it does scratch very easily and is pretty easy to dent. This doesn't hurt the function of the thermal, but you'd have to be careful if you are one of those who likes their possessions to look great all the time.

This is a great thermos---wonderfully insulating, completely water-tight. It's not as huge or heavy as many thermoses, which makes it great for travel or commuting.
It is not dishwasher safe per the packaging, but is much easier to clean than many travel mugs/thermoses. There aren't a lot of places where grime can hide. Because it is so narrow (no way you can fit an adult hand inside), you do need to use a brush to clean it. I really like that I can toss it in my purse without having to worry about leaks. I got the 'redwood', which is a nice reddish-copper color.
I'm really pleased with this product and am considering ordering a second.
