It all started with a simple hiker's bottle. Today, the SIGG bottle has acquired cult status. What happened is a success story that started in Biel, Switzerland in 1908. Küng, Sigg & Cie. manufactured leisure goods, kitchenware, and electrical appliances. The company relocated to Frauenfeld in 1916, where it helped pioneer the legendary tradition of Swiss quality. Since 1998, SIGG has concentrated on its core business: drinking bottles that deliver ultimate customer benefit.

Keeps liquids cold. A bit of a tight fit to get on and off. When pouring/drinking, liquid does drip out the opening of the bottle and run down under the cover. Depending on what you are drinking, kind of gross.

This fit the .6 liter Sigg bottle like a glove. Keeps the contents cold for a bit longer. Very well made, but at almost the price of the bottle itself, it was bit pricey. However, over time it will prove to be a good investment. Looks Great and clips on to your belt, backpack...whatever!

Although the Sigg bottles are wonderful, they don't insulate very well, and if you like your drinks to be better than lukewarm that can be an issue on the go. The neoprene pouch, though, keeps things chilly for a good while longer, and if you pop in a bit of ice as well you're set for a long enough to enjoy getting out of the housse.
